Mêler is an elegant handheld milk frother, that takes into account today's kitchen design trends so that it not only adds function in upgrading your morning coffee but stands alone as a decorative accent piece to your kitchen. Its ergonomic design and rubber over-mold allow the device to be more comfortable when in use. The stand allows for ease of placement and the easy-to-wipe drip plate makes sure your counters stay clean from excess liquid. Because of the stand’s size, you can also fit a standard coffee cup underneath and the stand will hold the frother steady while in use. Mêler is the perfect piece to add to any kitchen counter or coffee bar.
Modern day slow cooker with a user friendly digital touch screen display. The retractable power cord and heat resistant body allows for easy portability from kitchen to the centerpiece of the dining table.
For this project we were given the task to design a small kitchen appliance that had some sort of electrical component built into it. We first had to research and decide what electric appliance we were going to redesign. Once we chose the product, we were to ideate, then 3d model, and render our final concept.
The Small Kitchen Appliance is a project that tasks us as designers to not only think about external aesthetics, but also making sure our designs are realistic and manufacturable.

For Project 1 in the sophomore studio, each team designed a family of bathroom faucets (single-handle, 4-inch centerset, and 8-inch widespread) inspired by an assigned brand. Team Eva Solo took inspiration from the contemporary, Scandinavian style and unique curves of the Danish brand’s pitchers and watering cans. The essence of Eva Solo is infused into each detail of the collection, including the pomegranate hue from the brand’s Fall 2020 line and the name, Fugl, which translates to ‘bird’ in Danish.
