Our History
SIDSA was founded in the Fall of 2005, as the first and only student branch of the national professional organization, IDSA, in Texas. Since its inception, SIDSA has brought value to the Industrial Design department at the University of Houston through organizing conferences, exhibitions, workshops, mentorship programs, and portfolio reviews. In addition, SIDSA has represented UH and its Merit Award winners at IDSA regional district conferences. Now in our 14th year at the University of Houston, we continue to expand our membership and activities.
