Nearly 12 million young people from ages 18-34 experience a serious mental illness in the United States, with women being 2X more likely to develop. My thesis is about creating a discreet and effective resource to reduce anxiety and educate young women (18-34), about regulating mental health, using wearable sensor technology. A deep-dive search into current resources available will be compared to interviewed women that express what they really do to maintain anxiety. The design process used focuses on potential users and gaining opportunity insight through testing feedback and refinement.

Pace is a wearable pendant that holds health related sensors to monitor the user when wearing device. The sensors are to use collected data to analyze and develop perspective on individual triggers related to anxiety. Pace has a focus to help give women the right resources to overcome mental health and help to evolve our ever-growing society with well-practiced mental health.
