Minnie

Birth control can be a sensitive subject, for more reasons than one. Nearly half of women will switch or discontinue using their selected contraceptive method in the first year due to adverse side effects, and there is currently no method for knowing what birth control is right for you.

Minnie is an app & smart device pairing, designed to be a birth control management tool to help first-time birth control pill users find the right type of pill for them, consistently take the pill, and catch adverse reactions quickly. The app provides personalized suggestions, customizable notifications, tracking tools, and health resources. The smart device is a physical, analog way of tracking birth control designed to be an advanced tool for medication adherence.

This product provides necessary tools for women’s health in a space that is often neglected, and can bridge the information and treatment gap for women. Minnie has the potential to increase birth control effectiveness, reduce severe side effects, and decrease prescription turnover.

It’s your birth control, better.
